SENIOR ATTORNEY - LOS ANGELES

A successful candidate will have at least 7 years of legal experience, with extensive litigation experience, and will demonstrate a desire to serve the public interest by advocating on behalf of California consumers pursuing claims against car manufacturers and car dealers. The position calls for a hardworking, dedicated, and nimble attorney who is interested in aggressive discovery-driven litigation tactics and able to navigate competing priorities and the needs of multiple stakeholders, both internal and firm clients.

Knight Law Group offers a unique opportunity for an experienced litigator to apply their skill in multiple phases of the litigation/trial practice, including conducting depositions, undertaking complex research projects, assisting with trial strategy and serving second/third chair at trial, and working collaboratively with their colleagues on creating, implementing, and improving Knight Law policies and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct complicated research projects in the prosecution of Knight Law’s cases
  • Assume responsibility for trial efforts, typically as second chair or third chair
  • Draft moving papers, oppositions involving novel and complex issues
  • Appear at hearing for motions and oppositions
  • Conduct depositions of PMK witnesses, apex employees, mechanical and fraud experts, etc.
  • Provide assistance with trial strategy
  • Provide senior level oversight of Entry Level and Mid-Level Associate Attorneys, as designated by Supervising Partner
  • Seek out and recommend improvements in the client communication efforts
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement policies and proactively develop improvements to existing firm policies and procedures, including with regard to client communication
  • Provide legal support for the coordination of inter- and intradepartmental operations
  • Timely resolution of issues that may arise

QUALITIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • Member in good standing of the California Bar
  • At least seven (7) years of litigation experience as a licensed attorney
  • Genuine interest in consumer protection and representation
  • Hunger for professional growth, with a “no job is too big or too small” mentality
  • Collaborative and willing to operate in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience supervising and training junior attorneys preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook

We are looking for an experience Data Analyst who, working closely with our VP of Technology and cross-functional internal partners, will be an integral member of Knight Law Group’s back-office operation.

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in the Technology department by leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize business processes, and support client service initiatives within the firm. This position requires a strong background in data analytics within a Microsoft environment, including Azure, and familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support various departments, including marketing, client services, and legal operations. Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Microsoft Environment: Utilize Microsoft Azure for data storage, integration, and analysis. Work with Azure SQL, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools to streamline data processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Salesforce Management: Support the management and optimization of the firm’s Salesforce system, including Salesforce development and integrations. Analyze client data, monitor data quality, and assist in Salesforce apps integration projects.
